Wendy Baschuk has devoted her life to inspiring young hearts through both education and faith. With an associate’s degree in Business Administration from SUNY Farmingdale, a bachelor’s in Accounting, and a master’s in Finance from St. John’s University, she spent over ten years working as an accountant in New York before following a new calling — teaching. For the past seventeen years, she has taught middle school in Florida, including twelve years of Language Arts and now Business Education.

Her journey as an author began with a vision — a butterfly — and a divine nudge to create books that children could color, reflect upon, and cherish. Through her Color-It-Yourself Christian series, including After the Flood and He Sent His Son, she invites readers to explore God’s love in a joyful, interactive way.

Rooted in faith and guided by the Holy Spirit, she hopes her books continue to reach new generations, reminding them that God’s love never fades. Outside of writing, she finds peace in walking the beach, collecting sand dollars, camping, and enjoying life’s simple blessings with her family in Florida.
